In what should have been a solemn and respectful occasion, NFL star Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie have found themselves at the center of an internet firestorm following their appearance at the funeral of Ed Kelce’s longtime girlfriend, Margaret “Maggie” Hartwell.

The private ceremony, held last weekend in Cleveland, was intended to honor Hartwell’s life and legacy — but attendees say all eyes were on the Kelces for the wrong reasons.

“They looked like they just rolled out of bed,” one anonymous mourner told The Daily Stir. “Jason had on what looked like wrinkled khakis and a golf shirt. Kylie was in a dress, but her hair was in a messy bun — like, grocery run messy. You could just tell they didn’t want to be there.”

Photos leaked online show Jason sporting his signature beard — slightly more unkempt than usual — and a furrowed brow that had fans speculating whether the former Eagles center was grieving, furious, or both.
