Prince Harry ‘wounded deeply’ by Prince William’s ‘ultimate revenge’ as ‘feud grows’…Read more
The Duke of Sussex recently sparked fury after accepting the ESPY Pat Tillman Award for his work with the Invictus Games, with Tillman’s mother, Mary, and US sports commentators slamming the nomination.
The humiliation also extends to royal circles across the pond, according to royal expert Emily Andrews. She suggested there is “some mirth” in “palace corridors” over Harry making headlines for accepting a sports award.
Prince Harry is reportedly feeling deeply “wounded” after losing out on an important military role to his brother, Prince William.
Ms Andrews told Woman magazine: “He repeatedly voiced his sadness in having to give up his honorary military appointments after he and Meghan quit royal duties to seek their fortunes overseas.
“Old pals say it will have wounded him deeply to see his elder brother, Prince William, handed the role of Colonel-in-Chief of his former organisation, the Army Air Corps, by Charles.”
