In the lead-up to Super Bowl LIX, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was fined $11,255 by the NFL for taunting Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin during the AFC Championship Game.

Despite this fine, Kelce was not penalized during the Super Bowl for any unsportsmanlike conduct. The NFL did issue fines for other infractions in the Super Bowl, including a $14,069 fine for Eagles defensive tackle Milton Williams for spiking the football over the crossbar after forcing a fumble, and a $5,690 fine to Eagles linebacker Jalyx Hunt for a “violent gesture

Kelce’s fine for the AFC Championship Game was imposed for taunting, a violation of the NFL’s unsportsmanlike conduct rules. The fine amount is consistent with previous penalties for similar infractions.

As of now, there are no reports of additional fines or penalties for Kelce following the Super Bowl. The NFL’s decision to not impose further fines suggests that Kelce’s conduct during the Super Bowl met the league’s standards for sportsmanship.
