NFL Makes Final Decision on Whether Travis Kelce Faces Super Bowl Punishment
Following the Super Bowl LIX, the NFL has concluded its review of Travis Kelce’s conduct during the game. Despite a brief altercation with Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jordan Davis, where Kelce was seen shoving Davis, the NFL determined that Kelce did not violate any league policies. Consequently, he will not face any fines or disciplinary actions related to this incident.
Earlier in the season, Kelce was fined $11,255 for unsportsmanlike conduct during the AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills. This fine was imposed for taunting an opponent, a violation of the NFL’s conduct policy.
As of now, there are no additional fines or penalties imposed on Kelce following the Super Bowl. The NFL’s decision reflects their assessment that Kelce’s actions during the game did not warrant further disciplinary measures.
