**Coach of Iga Świątek Reacts to Poland’s Dropout from WTA Finals**

The coach of Iga Świątek, Tomasz Wiktorowski, has officially addressed the recent disappointment following the Polish tennis star’s early exit from the WTA Finals. After Świątek’s unexpected dropout from the prestigious event, which took place in November 2024, Wiktorowski shared his thoughts on the situation.

In a statement, Wiktorowski acknowledged the challenges Iga faced during the tournament, citing a combination of physical fatigue and mental strain after a demanding season. “It’s been an incredibly intense year for Iga, and while we had high hopes for the WTA Finals, we understand that the journey has been long. We will focus on regrouping and making adjustments for the upcoming season,” he said.

Świątek, who has dominated the WTA circuit in recent years, was aiming for another strong finish at the Finals. However, her early exit has prompted reflection and adjustments for both her and her coaching team as they look ahead to 2025. Wiktorowski also expressed confidence in Iga’s resilience, noting that she remains committed to returning stronger in the future.
