Kate Perry fans were forced to correct the singer after she shared a message wishing the England football team good luck in the Euros 2024 final on Sunday.

The singer seemed excited for the hotly-anticipated match between England and Spain, which kicked-off at 8pm in Berlin, Germany.

Taking to X – formerly known as Twitter – the Roar songstress penned, ‘football is coming home’ followed by the flag for the United Kingdom.

owever fans were quick to slam Katy for using the wrong flag, and corrected her by commenting the England flag, a red cross white a white background.
